Had a great stay again .Charlie & Julie ann are a smashing couple ,they cant do enough for you. Hotel is beautiful .food is lovely& fresh fruit salads to die for , breakfast is great ,plenty of choice , ( shout out foe the sasauges ) the best weve tried in years ,You can tekk Charlies a chef ,hes very passionate about what he does , & it showsWouldnt hesitate to book up again , so once again thankyou both from Michael & Angelina xx

Amazing stay
We visited yesterday as we were attending a wedding close by on Saturday and chose to stay at Briarfields, from the time of booking Julie-Ann was so helpful due to having an early wedding to attend we were abit worried about the late check in so we were able to have our room available for us at 10am for a quick change before attending the wedding, communication was great as soon as I emailed I got a response that same day helped me to prebook taxis as I was unsure of any taxi firms, on arrival Charlie greeted us gave us a quick low down on where bits were and then we went to our room which was beautiful clean and spacious, had toiletries tea and coffee making facilities biscuits and bottles of water in the fridge, the breakfast choices were amazing so much variety to be able to order and included in the room price. We preordered our breakfast the night before for 9am the following day and when we arriving at the table for breakfast it was with us within 10 minutes choice of cereals while you wait toast brought to the table and assortment of jams, the breakfast was lovely. I would definitely book here again if I’m needing somewhere to stay within the area again, couldn’t fault anything lovely place and run by lovely people.

Brilliant
We can definitely recommend this fabulous 5 star hotel. Charlie and Julie-Anne are the most wonderful warm and friendly hosts we have ever met. The breakfast was delicious with some really different choices. The home from home extra touches they have created are perfect i.e. fresh milk on request, naughty but delicious homemade shortbread in the rooms to name just couple. It is a busy road but with the Triple glazing I didn't hear a thing through the night. Very comfy beds indeed. We stayed for four nights and had an absolute great stay. They were great hosts. We will definitely like to stay there again when we go back to Torquay.

Booking Terms and Conditions
Reservations are generally accepted for any number of nights although minimum night restrictions may apply.Published offers cannot be used in conjunction with each other or with any other promotion or discount unless otherwise stated.

Pricing and Payment – Standard Booking

A deposit or prepayment for the first night of the stay may be taken when the booking is made. We accept payment by cash or credit/debit car. Unfortunately we do not accept personal cheques. All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling. It is important to read the terms and conditions of the reservation as policies (including cancellation) may differ.

Cancellations should be made with The Briarfields either by telephone or email via info@briarfields.co.uk

All bookings made are subject to these terms and conditions:

All cancellations advisedbefore 7 days or more before the check-in date can be done so free of charge and any deposit refunded.

If your booking is cancelled between 2 to 6 days (inclusive) of the date of arrival, the cost of the first night of thebooking will be charged (or the deposit kept).

If your booking is cancelled 24 hours before check-in, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Days are counted from midnight from the day of arrival.

The above terms and conditions of cancellation will not apply if the property is closed due to government action as a result of a resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic. In those circumstances guests may cancel their booking with no penalty.

Arrival and Departure

Check in is from 2.30pm to 7.00pm. Earlier check ins are available subject to room availability. If you require a late check-in please call us in advance. If you are delayed please give us a call and we can arrange for a late check-in.

Departure time is before 10.30am on your last day. Late check-outs may be arranged before departure.

Children

The Briarfields is an adult only establishment and we do not take children or infants under the age of 16 years old we reserve the right to refuse accommodation in this instance.

Pets

Please be advised that guest pets are not permitted in any part of the building.

Other Information

For the comfort of our guests, the eating of ‘fast food’ or ‘takeaway meals’ in any of our bedrooms is strictly prohibited. Should you be found to be consuming such foods in thebedroom we may levy a deep cleaning charge equivalent to £100.00 in addition to any accommodation charges already agreed, AND we will ask you to leave the property.Should you wish to order fast food or a take away please contact us and we will arrange to set a table up for you in the dining room (breakfast room).

Reasonable Usage

As The Briarfields is an old property some sound does travel and we ask that you respect the enjoyment of other guests. In extreme circumstances we reserve the right to terminate a booking for unacceptable conduct. We reserve the right to refuse bookings for large single sex groups; under 21’s or Hen/Stag parties.

Liability

Other than for death or personal injury causes by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss causes to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.

Guests park their cars in our car park at their own risk. The Briarfields will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur while parked in the car park.
